Grades 4-8 York Preparatory Academy is offering a summer program for students to recover credit for academic courses they have failed. This program allows students support and additional time in one or two core academic courses (Math and/or English) in an effort to promote them to the next grade with their peers.
Grades K-3 YPA is also offering a summer school program providing intensive direct instruction to students who are functioning at least one year below grade level in Reading, Writing, or Mathematics. The program uses the student's current level of instruction to target weaknesses through guided reading, direct instruction, instructional games, and journal assignments. Students will have independent reading assignments and math activities to complete each evening.
See attached form for more information regarding this program.
